This map allows the user to create demographic data-driven taxonomies of immigration regimes across 30 destination countries. First, select the amount of clusters or types you desire. Second, select the dimensions of immigration demography that you wish to characterize the regime taxonomy. Third, select which countries you wish to be considered. Click 'Go' and these preferences will be entered into a k-means clustering algorithm that will generate a customized, color-coded taxonomy. All data is sourced from the Crossroads database. Each time a new taxonomy is generated, a legend will appear in the top right corner of your map. To zoom, double-click the map or use the arrows in the top right corner. All data is from the most recent year available across all selected countries (2011).
